Price your items in .25₵ increments, as this makes it easier to total your sales and make change have between $50-$100 in change - example:
Place balloons on your mail box the morning of the sale
You can place balloons at the corners of your street -BUT CANNOT PLACE THEM ON THE STREET SIGNS!!!!!
Maps will be distributed at the front gate beginning at 6:00 am the morning of the sale

If you have a "special" item you would like noted beside your address on the map, please let Joy know

A Charitable organization will be contacted to pick up your left over items around 2:30 pm
this will be noted on the website once an organization has been confirmed
if your address is not noted on the map, your items will not be picked up
your items should be placed in a secure location (to keep trash pickers from taking them)
place some type "sign" on your items noting - example - "Pick Up DAV" (or whoever our organization is)
if your items are not picked up, call them directly - the number will be posted on the PEHA website If you call Joy, she cannot help you, you will need to call them direct
The Garden Club will pick up any remaining bicycles or bicycle parts to donate to "Revolutions Bike Shop" as one of the Garden Club recycle projects

The Garage Sale will be advertised in The Commercial Appeal, Shoppers News, Germantown News, and Shelby Sun Times, as well as on Craigslist

Invite your neighbors to participate with you! The more houses we have participate, the bigger crowd we draw to our sale!
Start cleaning out your attics, garages, closets and storage sheds. One mans trash is another mans treasure!
You do not have to be a member of PEHA to participate in the Garage Sale. If you live in the Poplar Estates Neighborhood, we would love for you to join! Just contact Joy and she will assist you with your membership dues
